Our friends at a Fortune 100 media company approached The Data Sherpas (TDS) for assistance with current state analysis, architectural design, and data infrastructure build-out focused on data governance and compliance.
The goal was to restructure the data and infrastructure to enable better organization, identification, and management of customer data governed by CCPA and GDPR globally. The project involved:
Built APIs to interface with upstream systems to gather customer requests.
Created an application to collect, organize, and visualize the data and send it to customers.
Provided a comprehensive technology strategy and managed the program from start to finish.
Designed and built the necessary architecture and platforms, including partner integrations and quality assurance.
Developed a strategy to build and integrate CCPA solutions across the client.
Provided ongoing support for the platform’s operations.
Utilized AWS, Snowflake, and Looker.
Architected and built solutions to enable the client’s Enterprise Data Solutions (EDS) teams to meet CCPA technology needs.
Created a library of artifacts in the client’s enterprise technology tools, facilitating the transition from build/integration to operations teams.
Designed, developed, and implemented a cloud analytics platform using AWS and Looker for the client.
Built out DataOps and AnalyticsOps for the client and then extended these solutions to the client’s 16 brands.
Designed and developed the client’s data ‘clean room’ leveraging Snowflake and AWS.
The project spanned a 6-year relationship during which TDS provided comprehensive support in data strategy, technology strategy, platform operations, and platform support. Our solutions enabled our client to achieve robust data governance and compliance, ensuring they could effectively manage customer data while adhering to CCPA and GDPR regulations.
